I think it's difficult to write songs about something other than romantic love, and still be able to communicate the intensity with which those feelings can hit a person. Some of the entries on this album are fantastic examples of this niche. dani_bloop

You know, it wasn't my favorite for a while, but for some reason my brain decided to listen to it on loop a few weeks ago and now I can't stop thinking about it.
I love the synths, the tone, the lyricism, even the music videos which I feel I should mention!!!
(also, should've been me reminds me a bit of abba which is an automatic bonus in my book) praisedrays

I remember seeing everyone freak out on twitter when this was announced. I had literally zero idea what Mitski's music even was apart from bits of Nobody & Washing Machine Heart, so when it came out I had no idea what to expect.
I think that deciding to listen to this album was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Every single song is a standout track to me, which I don't say lightly. It also led me to listen to the rest of her discography, which I haven't regretted in the slightest. praisedrays
